An iconic landmark tower for Ho Chi Minh City inspired by the form of Vietnamese dragon. The head of the dragon accommodates luxury apartments with the body and tail forming high quality office space. The public plaza has been created under the dramatic cantilevered dragon’s head. Generous terraces, balconies and large glazed areas provide excellent views across the Saigon River.
The concept is create an abstract “Dragon” shaped iconic form that echoes a traditional Vietnamese dragon art and the powerful Saigon Beer (Sabeco) Logo. The “head” of the Dragon dramatically cantilevers 16 meters over the office plaza. The “tail” forms the lower portion of the building facing Ngo Van Nam street.
At the ground floor level lobbies are provided for the three main functions of the tower with the additional of two banks and a coffee shop retail spaces.
The Saigon Beer Office Space forms the largest portion of the lower levels of the tower with its lobby located on Level 3 that will be highly visible from the elevated highway. The recess formed by the lower loop of the Dragon “S” shape accommodates the Saigon Beer executive office floors which have an outdoor terrace that overlooks the river.
General Office space forms the middle portion of the tower. Luxury Residential Apartments forms the upper portion of the tower. The recess formed by the upper loop of the Dragon “S” shape creates a terrace and pool deck of the resident’s clubhouse.
